Dava Krause
At 25, Dava works regularly as a Stand up Comedian all across the country. Highlights include The Laugh Factory in Honolulu and “4 & B” in San Diego where she performed in front of a crowd of 1,500 people.
This sarcastic Philadelphia Native balances the perfect formula of attitude and graciousness as she weaves between hilarious characters and stories into witty one-liners. Dava also plays original songs on guitar. Dava has been called the female Jack Black because she sings her songs with the passion of a true rock star and the humor of a true comedian.
Dava graduated from four years of improv training at the Second City Conservatory and The Improv Olympic in Chicago, and The Groundlings in Los Angeles. Dava can easily play any crowd in any situation.
Dava’s stand-up and sketch series, “My roommate’s boyfriend” are featured on Comedy Time.com, which is the first comedy network featuring original programming specifically for wireless handsets.
Last fall she landed a principal role in “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” at The Falcon Theatre. Dava auditioned for fellow Northwestern University Alumnae Garry Marshall, who founded and runs The Falcon Theatre.
She is also one of the youngest comics to have many of her jokes chosen and published for a new book titled "She's So Funny" by Judy Brown. Her jokes appeared along with some of her heroes in comedy such as Margaret Cho, Rita Rudner and Wanda Sykes. (In Stores now)
Most recently, Dava made her television debut on the WB’s long running hit, “7th Heaven”.
Her comedic songs and stand-up bits are on regular rotation on Sirius Satellite, XM and The All Comedy Network.
