JORGEANA MARIE

Jorjeana Marie is a sweet and sarcastic breath of fresh air. She is a dynamic and engaging physical comedienne changing from one position, one character to the next with lightning fast speed while simultaneously utilizing a conversational style that puts all audiences at ease as well as entertains them fully.

She works continuously in Commercials and as a Voice-Over artist with clients ranging from Nickelodeon to American Express, working on projects from animation to Public Service Announcements for drug awareness and The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. She also has done a few stints in the world of Film and Television working with directors like Alec Baldwin in The Devil and Daniel Webster, Peter Howitt in MGM's Antitrust, James Mangold in Kate and Leopold and Dave on Chapelle's Show.

Before, during and after attending New York University, she took on the role of playwright, penning three one-woman shows: Bliss, Ally, MaryJane & Me and NY, I LOVE, and has also written several plays, screenplays, books of poetry and columns for The Comic Bible where interviews with Eric Bogosian and Tales From the Comedy Trenches were revealed.
As a comedienne she's performed at the top clubs in the country alongside the likes of Colin Quinn, Paul Mecurio, Laurie Kilmartin, Darrell Hammond, Louis CK, Marc Maron, Doug Stanhope and many other funny folks. Festivals and contests are also a part of her history including The NY Fringe Festival, The Boston Comedy Festival, and the Annual Gilda's Laugh-Off. She performs regularly in NYC, LA and everywhere in between. From clubs and colleges to corporate events and industrials, there's no audience unsatisfied and no topic too safe.

An Official Humor Ambassador for the non-profit foundation Comedy Cures she has been invited to perform improv and stand-up at many non-profit organizations such as Paul Newman's Double H-Hole in the Wall, Gilda'a Club, Care One, and Dream Street.
Most recently she took the stage with Comedy Fights Cancer at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital, starred as "Emily" in the Independent film Indelible (currently in Post-Production), and recorded LAFF TRAX, called "a laugh a minute from today's biggest comedians and tomorrow's hot, new talent"

Recently, Jorjeana was hired by American Movie Classics to host "Date Night" for them.
She also got a chance to work on "And The Nominees Are..." discussing her choices for this year's Oscar Picks. If you saw her on AMC, you know she got it right. For once.
