Jovelyn Richards

Jovelyn Richards is a natural born storyteller. Being raised by an actress mother who loved to gamble and display her drama queen tendencies especially at PTA meetings, Jovelyn draws on her background when she climbs on stage. Jovelyn maintains that comedy is always a gamble; a gamble she loves and at which she excels. Physicality and silly characters provide heartwarming and hilarious insight as Jovelyn weaves her tales.

Aside from performing throughout the California and the Northwest Jovelyn Richards hosts one of the hottest showcases in Northern Californian at Kimball’s East in Emeryville. Look for this hot star everywhere and for her one woman show to be aired on KPFA in the San Francisco in August 2005.
