"Michael Slack is a funny, smart, good man... I found him to be instantly likeable by audiences and people in general. He's witty and sharp in his observations, and gracious and classy in character. I like this guy.”

Michael Slack’s smart, dry take on his absurd world keeps audiences thinking… and laughing. His pursuit of comedy, coupled with the fact he that he didn’t attend anything remotely resembling medical school, dashed all hopes of a career as a prominent brain surgeon. A perpetual hapless hero, Michael is regarded by peers as one of the sharpest writers and quickest wits in the business. Thoughtful, adept, engaging – his intelligent observations and natural rapport make him a constant crowd favorite. Wielding an astute comedic style often described as “amplified through a microphone”, and a dating style even more often described as “feeble”, Michael’s clean flexible approach appeals to club and private audiences alike.

A regular feature at the San Jose Improv, Michael has worked with some of the top names in the business, including Brian Regan, Richard Lewis, Bob Saget, Robert Schimmel, Mark Lundholm and Willie Barcena. Surpassing over 100 comedians from around the country, he recently won the 2005 Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club Annual Competition in Sunnyvale, California. In 2004, Michael appeared at the Gulf Coast Comedy Festival in Destin, Florida, and so impressed organizers he was invited back to headline the 2005 event.

Michael has entertained private audiences from Cisco, Nokia, Ernst & Young, Intel, the American Cancer Society, Active 20/30, San Francisco State University, Santa Clara University School of Law, and the San Jose State Athletic Department, among others. He loves to make people laugh, and donates his time and talent to numerous charitable causes.
