Rebecca Arthur
The intro is made, the rocking music starts, and onto the stage stomps one of the biggest female comics in the business; literally. At a “dainty” 6’4” Rebecca Arthur almost looks like she’s ready to audition for Godzilla’s love interest. And her style is not that of the typical comic. She glares at the audience, slowly takes the microphone and then slowly, without a hint of a smile on her face delivers humor so dry it could suck the water out of an Olympic sized pool. And the audience loves it.
Rebecca is a winner of the California’s Funniest Female Contest, an event that included more than 120 comics. She has performed at venues across the country from the world famous Improv in Hollywood, to Stony Brook University in New York. She’s been seen on “The Last Comic Standing,” “Faking It” on the TLC network and is a regular contributor to Sprint PCS’, 1KTV Laugh Trax.
