It’s not easy being the middle child in an Asian immigrant family in Louisiana! With the lack of childhood emotional attention and a lot of bad hand-me-downs, Rosie Tran, stand up comedienne, emerged. With all of the racial tensions, cultural mix-ups, and questionable sibbling sexual orientation in Rosie’s childhood, it’s enough fuel to keep a fire of jokes coming for hours.

Rosie is one of the fastest rising stars in the stand up comedy circuit today. Her act has been described as “energetic”, “fun” and “edgy.” Rosie’s style combines stories and jokes about her life growing up as a Vietnamese-American in the South, her experiences in college , wacky family life, and dating in the big city. She has been called the “hardest working chick in stand up” by industry heavyweights, like Shawn Ullman, head of Exceed Entertainment. Rosie has worked clubs, colleges, and festivals around the United States and Canada, including the World Famous Improv chain and the Boston International Film and Comedy Festival.
